It's a really good photo, and it gives me the chills. My attention draws quickly to the midpart of the photo, which doesn't give it much of a balance. But when I take a closer look at the details, and colors among the top part it really gives another impression. What would make this excellent, is if you had someone standing among the trees almost out of sight. It looks beautiful and eerie as it is, but giving that extra surprise would put this on the spot! that's just my opinion though. The light is good, but I think the contrast could be put up just a very few notches.

All in all, great! :)

Incredible!

Although I have several talented photographers on my watchlist, I'm not a big fan of photographic work and I hate snow.

But I literally emulated dA's "eyepopping" emotie when I first viewed this picture...

It's work like this that changes one's perception of an artform for the better.

The light reflecting and bouncing off the snow, the hazy effect (almost mystical in nature, this photo made an impact far removed from how I feel about it's subject matter :D

I gave it five stars across the board and to be honest, I wish I could have gone higher on impact.

This is the first I've seen of this artist's work, but I will see more!

I esp love how the photo looks almost black and white but when you look at it enlarged you can see the reddish warmth in the bare tree branches on top! Kinda cozy, beautiful.
